What You’ll learn
Are you perplexed by Burgundy’s complex classification of regions, villages and wines? Join us on our Climats Experience and learn what it’s all about. Our expert sommeliers will unmask the mysteries for you, plain and clear. Starting with the history of the region, Pommard and Château de Pommard, you will discover how this region sprung to life and what makes it so special. You will also learn how 150 million years of geological change has shaped the unique terroir and soils of the Côte d’Or and how two millennia of years of winemaking has resulted in the unique savoir faire of Burgundy’s winemakers. Your ambition is to make sure the next time you are presented with a bottle of Burgundy wine you will be able to impress your friends and colleagues with your wine IQ and how to properly taste and savor the flavors contained within.

Professional Wine Advisors
Our Wine Experiences are hosted by Sommeliers and Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) trained professionals. Our Wine Advisors offer a thoughtful and authoritative approach to help you learn about the history of wine, biodynamic vineyard management, our signature winemaking techniques and the art of tasting. Groups are limited in size to eight participants to help provide a convivial environment where you will feel comfortable asking questions, interact with other visitors and expand your wine knowledge.

Our Wine Experiences take place onsite at the Château in our Wine Experience Center, a place designed to engage your senses and expand your mind. At 20 hectares, Clos Marey-Monge, now a UNESCO World Heritage site, provides the perfect classroom to fully connect with the savoir faire that makes Burgundy one of the most desired wine regions in the world.
