Château de Pommard and Famille Carabello-Baum’s best vintages delivered worldwide for the Holiday season
As the Holiday season approaches, Château de Pommard and Famille Carabello-Baum unveil four festive wine collections. Each year, the estate releases a curated selection of Burgundy’s greatest appellations from its cellar, including different vintages from its flagship cuvée, Clos Marey-Monge Monopole. These ready-to-drink cuvées were carefully chosen by Château de Pommard’s expert wine advisors for their potential to pair with wintry meals.
“Burgundy’s wines are well known for their long aging potential. Thanks to ample fruit combined with light tannins, they are accessible quite young. But the thrill provided by a great Burgundy wine tasted right on time has nothing to compare with the experience of sipping it younger,” says Château de Pommard and Famille Carabello-Baum’s winemaker.
Tailor-made to warm up the Fall season, the six-bottle Holiday Essentials Collection gathers a mix of iconic Burgundy terroirs, from Gevrey-Chambertin 2014 to Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru 2015, through Nuits-Saint-Georges 2015, Ladoix Premier Cru “Les Gréchons” 2015, Volnay Premier Cru 2014 and Meursault 2015. Additionally, Château de Pommard pays tribute to Burgundy’s traditional grapes, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with two distinct three-bottle collections. The Holiday Whites Trio is composed of two Premier Crus, the great Ladoix “Les Gréchons” 2018 as well as the Chassagne-Montrachet 2015 and Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru 2017; while the Holiday Reds Trio includes three exceptional Burgundy Pinot Noirs - Volnay Premier Cru 2014, Corton Grand Cru Charlotte Dumay Hospices de Beaune 2017 and the estate’s signature cuvée, Clos Marey-Monge Monopole 2014. Last but not least, the Clos Marey-Monge Vintage Collection gathers six bottles of Château de Pommard’s Clos Marey-Monge Monopole from different vintages. These collections are available at special Holiday prices of $294.10, $232.90, $294.95, and $531.25 respectively on Château de Pommard’s online wine shop.
Finally, customers are able to create their own collections of Burgundy wines, depending on their preferences. The purest expressions of Burgundy Pinot Noir and Chardonnay can now be delivered worldwide in less than 15 days.
