Have you ever wondered what it was like to be a winemaker? Put yourself in our shoes for a day and discover the journey of the grape, from the Clos Marey-Monge to the glass. You will get the unique chance to pick grapes, taste the wine at various stages of its making and share lunch with the harvesters – making you a part of our newest vintage.
Our wine advisors are graduates of the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET). They offer a thoughtful and documented approach to learn more about the history of wine, the management of biodynamic vineyards, our viticultural techniques and the art of tasting.
Château de Pommard is located a few kilometres from Beaune, in the heart of Burgundy. Our experiences take place in our vineyard, Clos Marey-Monge. Protected from the winds by a wall erected in the nineteenth century, its 20 hectares now constitute the largest private monopoly of Côte d’Or. Since 2015, Clos Marey-Monge has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site alongside the Climats of the Burgundy vineyards. Can you imagine better classroom?

For fifteen years, Jérôme Aucourt introduced tens of thousands of people around the world to the wines of Château de Pommard. His passion for Burgundy and his knowledge of wine was limitless. In memory of our friend, colleague, father, husband, and wine advisor, we have established the Jérôme Aucourt Scholarship at our Ècole V Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) professional wine school. Details of the scholarship program will be published soon. Jérôme is survived by his wife Allison, their two young children, his mother, father, and two brothers.
