Clos Marey-Monge Micault 2017

  • With a pale ruby color our Micault 2017 is the purest expression of low-oaked Pinot Noir. Aged in older oak barrels, giving prominence to crisp red fruit aromas, it displays notes of strawberries and raspberries alongside hints of flowers such as peonies. The palate reveals low and mellow tannins, as well as a lot of flesh. Enjoyable from now on, this Pinot Noir will age gracefully in the years to come.

Micault

Originally planted as an English garden, the 1.29-hectare parcel situated at the foot of Château Micault was eventually transformed into a vineyard. Its vines grow on fine alluvial formations from the Avant-Dheune river and create a fruity Pinot Noir that is enjoyable young.
