More about your host…

Originally from the United States, Preston first went to France to complete his studies in art history. He quickly fell in love with the culture of France, its cuisine, and above all, its wine. Preston has now lived in France for over 15 years and holds a Diploma in Wines & Spirits from the WSET (Level 4). Having spent many years in wine education, distribution, and wine tourism, Preston understands that wine can be full of emotion but is often intimidating and very subjective. His role with Château de Pommard as trusted Wine Advisor is to demystify the wines of Burgundy and help you create a special place for wine in your life.

Jérôme Aucourt

In memory

For fifteen years, Jérôme Aucourt introduced tens of thousands of people around the world to the wines of Château de Pommard. His passion for Burgundy and his knowledge of wine was limitless. In memory of our friend, colleague, father, husband, and wine advisor, we have established the Jérôme Aucourt Scholarship at our Ècole V Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) professional wine school. Details of the scholarship program will be published soon. Jérôme is survived by his wife Allison, their two young children, his mother, father, and two brothers.
