The pursuit of happiness — it’s what I live for. And that’s what my job is — for you, our guests. Stepping away from the day to day and experiencing an amazing journey to somewhere memorable like Château de Pommard is the best gift we can give ourselves and those we love.
All of Burgundy, and Château de Pommard in particular, is a story book — a trip to the world’s most historic wine region and a trip back in time. Visiting Clos Marey-Monge is one of the great ways to not only taste elegant, beautiful wines, but also to learn about the terroir, viticulture and winemaking savoir faire that makes it taste so exceptional.
I joined the team at Château de Pommard in 2016 with the ambition to offer the most authentic and thoughtful wine experiences in Burgundy, and to make our winery one of the most visited in the Côte d’Or. If you cycle from village to village along the Route des Grand Crus or enjoy a stroll around Clos Marey-Monge during Harvest and you will see for yourself why the world adores Burgundy.
My career has always been focused on hospitality and destination development.
I studied at Sciences Po Lille, HEC, and at Sorbonne University in Paris where I completed a Master’s Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. Beginning my career at Club Med in London and in 2010, I then joined Horwath HTL, an international consulting company specialized in offering the most elegant hotel-holiday projects in the world. During my six years there, I traveled all around the globe to build and invest in innovative destinations. Now, I am using my experience to develop Château de Pommard into an even more special place than its history and geography tells us. The Château inspires me every day, thanks to Emmanuel Sala’s incredible wines, the grand architecture of the Châteaux, the geography of the Clos, and the spirit of the team.
Our team’s visions for the winery’s future is why I accepted the role. Plain and simple. Its ambitious, for sure, but when it is complete, I am confident it will reboot Burgundy and transform Château de Pommard into the must-see, must-do, must-visit location of the region. We have everything we need to make it happen. All we have to do is spread the word!
I divide my time between Paris, where my husband Philippe and I live, and one of the Château’s 18th century apartments. Outside of work, I am a fitness-fiend and a singer in a band. So when I’m not sizing up the Châteaux and the grounds, I’m at the gym in Beaune or performing on a stage, usually in Paris.
As I said, the pursuit of happiness — it’s what I live for.
