Our Puligny-Montrachet 2019 displays a pale lemon-lime color. The nose instantly conjures bouquets of white blossoms, dried fruits and marzipan. The palate is vibrant and balanced with the typical minerality of Puligny. The finish, fresh and persistent, offers light flinty notes with a touch of toast that is perfectly integrated.
The stony soils of Puligny-Montrachet, located between Meursault and Chassagne-Montrachet, are widely known for full-bodied and intense Chardonnays that have been highly sought-after for centuries. Rising between 230 and 320 meters above sea level, the southeast exposures are protected from the winds by the Montrachet slopes.
Alcoholic fermentation and aging in the same French oak barrels. Malolactic fermentation. Aging on fine lees. Fining and light filtration before bottling.
