The vines producing our cuvée Vivant Micault were originally planted as an English garden. They grow on fine alluvial formations from the Avant-Dheune river and create a fruity Pinot Noir that is particularly enjoyable when young.
A pure expression of a minimally oaked Pinot Noir, our Vivant Micault 2020 displays a deep ruby color. This refreshing and elegant wine features aromas of red fruits, such as redcurrant and cherry, with a hint of spice. On the palate, the tannins are ethereal and lacy. Vivant Micault 2020 explodes in the mouth with its jubilant, juicy Morello cherry profile. Enjoyable today, this Pommard will evolve gracefully over the next 10 years.

Hand-harvested organic grapes, hand-sorted on a vibrating table. 20% destemmed, placed into stainless steel fermentation vats by gravity flow. Long maceration over several weeks, minimal pumping-over and punching-down. Pressing in pneumatic press. Placed in French oak for aging on fine lees.
