Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru “Aux Murgers” beautifully combines the power and elegance that define the great wines of Burgundy. “Aux Murgers” refers to the stone piles, or “murgers,” traditionally placed around the vineyards to mark the plots and protect the soil from erosion. The soils, rich in clay and limestone, produce wines of exceptional intensity.
Perched above the town of Nuits-Saint-Georges, the vineyard enjoys an ideal southeast-facing exposure, allowing the vines to soak up a gentle, consistent light throughout the day.
