With a beautiful golden color, our Pouilly-Fuissé Premier Cru "La Maréchaude" 2022 expresses floral and buttery aromas with a touch of acacia and linden. The palate is precise with a persistent roundness and perfect balance, offering an intense finish that displays notes of citrus.
Instituted in 1936, the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation embraces four villages: Solutré-Pouilly, Fuissé, Vergisson and Chaintré. Its clay-limestone soils from the Jurassic Period are perfect for the development of Chardonnay. Located on the middle part of the slope, "La Maréchaude" has a southerly exposition and produces powerful, voluptuous white wine.
Hand-harvested grapes. Alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts and aging in the same French oak barrels. Malolactic fermentation. Aging on fine lees. Fining and light filtration before bottling.
