“From his intimate knowledge of the many parcels on the property, cellar-master Emmanuel Sala has crafted a very complete and compelling expression of it. Deep, luminous ruby. An authentic, authoritative nose, restrained but vivid: fresh back and red fruit, with an earthy liquorice lick. Animating acidity but nothing angular, thanks to the firm but fine-grained, well-polished tannins; good harmony and intensity through the long finish, which should fan out over time.”
