Château de Pommard Appoints Rémi Marchand As Global Export Director
Château de Pommard is pleased to announce the appointment of Rémi Marchand as its new Global Export Director and executive committee member. After five years as the Château’s Trade Sales Manager for Asia and Europe, Rémi brings a wealth of experience and a profound passion for fine wine and international business.
Born and raised in Burgundy, Rémi Marchand has always been a dedicated ambassador of his homeland. His deep appreciation for wine and culture has driven him to connect diverse people and cultures through the world of wine. Rémi’s career is marked by significant accomplishments in the wine industry, particularly internationally.
Before joining Château de Pommard, Rémi spent several years in Asia, collaborating with prestigious wineries such as Grands Chais de France and Georges Vigouroux (Cahors). His expertise and dedication have been instrumental in establishing Château de Pommard’s distribution network across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Canada since 2019. Rémi’s ability to forge strong relationships and his strategic vision has significantly contributed to the growth and success of our brand on a global scale.
As Global Export Director, Rémi will be responsible for developing and expanding Château de Pommard’s international B2B sales. His fluency in English and Chinese, coupled with his robust educational background – holding a Master’s degree in Cross-Cultural Negotiation – positions him uniquely to lead our export initiatives. Additionally, Rémi is a certified wine professional with credentials from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust and the EVS (French Wine School).
