CÔTE DE BEAUNE

Chassage-Montrachet Premier Cru “Morgeot” 2018

TASTING

With its golden hue, this Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru reveals delicate aromas of lemon and white peach accompanied by vanilla and a touch of oak. Initially on the palate the wine is fresh, but rapidly its power and generosity are revealed. The richness of the vintage brings some unctuousness, which is here harmoniously balanced by a beautiful minerality.

“Morgeot” is the largest Premier Cru of Chassagne-Montrachet. First planted in the 15th century, “Morgeot” shares its renowned terroir between Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
