About Saint-Romain

Saint-Romain is a true hidden gem in the Côte de Beaune. While it may not have the fame of some of its neighboring appellations, it produces exceptional white wines, predominantly crafted from Chardonnay. The vineyards, planted on hillside slopes, benefit from ideal exposure and limestone-rich soils that lend finesse and elegance to the wines. Saint-Romain whites are renowned for their freshness, minerality, and delicate aromas of fresh fruit and white flowers. The appellation perfectly captures the purity of Burgundy’s terroir, offering wines that are both simple and refined, with a remarkable depth of flavor.
