Magnum (1.5L) - With its ruby color and purplish highlights, our Clos Marey-Monge Grands Esprits 2023 cuvée stands out as a perfectly balanced wine. Its powerful nose is marked by ripe cherry aromas with a subtle floral touch. On the palate, it is full-bodied and deep, with a beautifully structured tannic profile. The finish is long and vibrant, carrying the wine toward a more mineral and energetic note.
Planted between 1970 and 1980, the vines giving birth to our Grands Esprits cuvée grow on rocky, limestone-rich soils. They produce a beautifully linear Pinot Noir with firm tannins and excellent potential for long aging.
Hand-harvested biodynamic grapes, hand-sorted on a vibrating table. 17% whole cluster and placed into stainless steel fermentation vats by gravity flow. Alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Vertical press. Malolactic fermentation. Placed in French oak barrels for aging on fine lees. No filtration.
